Who it’s for
Are filing credits right for your firm?
Credits are for accountants and bookkeepers who file Self Assessment for clients. Individuals filing their own return should choose an individual plan instead.
You need SA100–SA110 and the SA800 path in one desk, with packs that scale from a first season (10) through larger firms (100).

How it works
From client figures to filed in four steps
-
1
Register the practice
Create an organisation and invite staff — unlimited logins on one workspace.
-
2
Prepare client returns
Draft SA100–SA110 and partnership returns free. Credits are not used while you prepare.
-
3
Review the calculation
Check the combined tax calculation, SA302-style estimate and schedule with the client before filing.
-
4
File with one credit
Pay or apply a credit for that client tax year, submit to HMRC, and keep amendments for that year included.
Included
What practice credits unlock
SA100 to SA110 and the partnership SA800 path for every client in the organisation.
Partners, seniors and juniors share one practice workspace — no per-user fee.
Each practice’s client data stays in its own organisation boundary.
Combined calculation, SA302-style estimate and detailed schedule per return.
Submit to HMRC when ready. One credit covers that client tax year.
After a credit is used for a client year, amendments for that same year are included.

Clear scope keeps the filing fee low. Buy the right tool for the other jobs.
No invoices, bank feeds or VAT. Keep FreeAgent, Xero or QuickBooks.
No CT600, iXBRL or Companies House. Use dedicated corporation tax software for that.

Year-end Self Assessment is included. Quarterly ITSA is a later add-on.
FAQs
Accountant credits — questions answered
How do filing credits work?
One credit equals one client tax year when you file. You can prepare as many draft returns as you need without using a credit. The credit is consumed only at filing for that taxpayer year.
What do the packs cost?
List prices exclude VAT: 10 for £179 (£17.90 each), 25 for £349 (£13.96 each — most chosen), 50 for £599 (£11.98 each), 100 for £999 (£9.99 each). Credits are valid for 12 months from purchase.
Are staff logins limited?
No. Unlimited practice logins are included. Everyone in the organisation works in the same Self Assessment desk.
Do I pay while drafting?
No. Drafting never uses a credit. You only use a credit when you file that client tax year. Amendments for the same year after filing are included.
Is this a monthly subscription?
No. You buy a credit pack when you need filings. There is no monthly suite fee on the public credit packs.
Does it include MTD quarterly updates?
No. Year-end Self Assessment is included now. MTD quarterly updates for Income Tax are planned as a later add-on. Do not buy credits today if you only need quarterly ITSA submissions.
Can individuals buy credits?
Individuals filing their own return should use Employment (£39), Self-employed & property (£49), or Partnership (£69). Credits are for practices filing client returns.
