Employment Self Assessment pricing — £39 + VAT

For people whose Self Assessment is mainly PAYE employment, savings and dividends — filed online for one flat fee per tax year.

In short

Employment & investment Self Assessment is £39 + VAT (£46.80 inc VAT) per tax year with Self Assessment Software. Prepare free — no card until you file. That payment unlocks the full SA100–SA110 desk for the year (pages as they apply): employment SA102 and elected-office variants, savings and dividends, plus SA101 and SA106–SA109 when needed, calculation and HMRC filing. Choose Self-employed & property (£49) if you also trade or let UK property.

Who it’s for

Is Employment & investment right for you?

Choose this plan when your year is mainly PAYE, savings or dividends — not self-employment, UK property or partnership pages. Every individual plan still unlocks the full SA100–SA110 desk for that tax year; the band is the primary path. If you trade or let UK property, use Self-employed & property instead.

Employment income

You have a P60 / P45 and need to report employment on SA102 — including ministers and elected-office variants when they apply — often with student loan, underpaid tax, or a second job HMRC already knows about.

Savings, dividends & other pages

Interest, dividends or similar investment income pushes you into Self Assessment. Additional information (SA101), foreign (SA106), trusts on SA107, capital gains (SA108) and residence (SA109) stay available when they apply — without buying a higher band.

FAQs

Employment & investment — questions answered

Who should choose the £39 plan?

People whose Self Assessment is mainly employment (SA102), savings and dividends. If you have self-employment, Lloyd’s or UK property to report, choose Self-employed & property at £49. If you need a partner’s share or SA800, choose Partnership at £69.

Does £39 include the full form set?

Yes for that tax year: the full SA100–SA110 desk as pages apply — employment (including elected-office variants), savings and dividends, SA101 and SA106–SA109 when needed, combined calculation, SA302-style estimate, detailed schedule, HMRC filing and amendments. It does not include bookkeeping, corporation tax, partnership SA800, Trust SA900, or an accountant.

Is it really one payment?

Yes — £39 + VAT (£46.80 including VAT), one payment per tax year when you file. Prepare free with no card. No monthly subscription on this plan.

Can I amend after filing?

Yes. Once you have paid for that tax year, amendments for the same return year are included.

What if I also trade or let property?

Use Self-employed & property (£49). That plan covers SA103 / Lloyd’s SA103L and SA105 and still includes employment and investment pages if you have them.

What is an SA302?

An SA302 is HMRC’s tax calculation summary. Mortgage lenders often ask for it. We produce an SA302-style estimate from your return. It is not an official HMRC SA302 until HMRC issues one after filing.
