White label Self Assessment for practices

Your clients see your practice, not ours: your logo on the approval page, your name on the emails they receive and your letterhead on their tax PDFs.

Early access: we switch white label on for each practice on request.

In short

White label swaps the Self Assessment Software brand for your practice on everything your clients see. Once our team switches it on, a practice admin saves a display name and logo under Your branding. From then on the client approval page, approval and acceptance emails, partner share letters and tax PDFs show your firm. HMRC still receives the return under your agent login.

This page covers

  • What changes for clients once white label is on
  • How to set your name and logo
  • What stays the same at HMRC

Set up

From our brand to yours in four steps

Nothing to install and no change to how you prepare or file.

01 Step 1 of 4

We switch white label on for your practice

White label is turned on per organisation by our team. Ask from the contact page and tell us the practice name you sign up with.

Until it is on, your workspace, client emails and tax PDFs carry the Self Assessment Software brand. Your saved name and logo wait in the background.

02 Step 2 of 4

Save your display name and logo

Practice admin

Under My Account, the Your branding card takes a display name and a logo. Drag in a PNG, JPG or GIF up to 1 MB and choose Save branding.

Leave the display name blank to use the organisation name. With no logo, your display name is printed instead, so a firm without artwork can still switch on.

Good to know
  • Use a wide logo on a transparent or white background. It is shown small in emails and on PDF letterheads.

03 Step 3 of 4

Clients see your firm in every email

Approval requests, partnership approval requests, partner share letters and the HMRC accepted email carry your logo at the top and your firm name in the footer.

Our support panel is removed from those emails, so clients reply to you rather than to us. The approval page they open shows your name and logo too.

04 Step 4 of 4

Tax PDFs print on your letterhead

The SA302-style tax calculation, the partner share letter and the HMRC confirmation PDF use your logo, or your name if there is no logo.

The tax letter and payment note already name your practice as the preparer, so the whole pack reads as one firm.

Good to know
  • Download a calculation after switching on to check how your logo sits on the page.

Why it matters

One firm, start to finish

Approvals feel familiar

A client asked to approve a tax return is more likely to act on an email that carries the logo of the firm they already know.

Replies come to you

With our support panel removed, questions about figures go to the person who prepared them.

A consistent client pack

Letter, payment note and calculation look like one set of papers from your office.

FAQs

Common questions

What does white label change in Self Assessment Software?

Client-facing emails, the client approval page and tax PDFs show your practice name and logo instead of Self Assessment Software. Your team also sees your logo in the workspace.

What logo files can I upload?

PNG, JPG or GIF, up to 1 MB. Without a logo, your display name is printed instead.

Which emails carry my brand?

The client approval request, the partnership approval request, the partner share letter email and the HMRC accepted email.

How do I turn white label on?

Ask our team through the contact page. We switch it on for your organisation, then a practice admin saves the display name and logo under My Account.

Does HMRC see my branding?

No. HMRC receives the return data under your agent login. Branding only changes what your clients and team see.
